Adding an ASM Account to link Securly MDM to Apple School Management

- In Securly MDM, go to Settings > Device Enrollment.
- Click Add ASM account.
- Enter a name you would like to use to identify the ASM account.
- Click Save.
- If you wish to use the ASM account to sync class rosters from ASM, be sure the box is checked for “Sync ASM Roster”.
- On the account configuration page, click the download link next to Public Key. This will download a file with a .pem extension. You’ll upload this key into ASM in a future step.
- In a separate tab, open Apple School Manager to add and configure an MDM server.
- Go to Preferences from the bottom user menu
- Next to “Your MDM Servers” click the Add button.
- Choose a name for the MDM server such as Securly MDM Server.
- Click Choose file to upload the Public Key (.pem) file downloaded from Securly MDM.
- Click Save.
- The new MDM server will be created and the server information page will appear.
- Click the Download Token button at the top of the server page. This will download a file ending in .p7m.
- Return to Securly MDM and click the Browse button next to the Server token field to choose and upload the .p7m token file that you downloaded from ASM.
- Click Save.
