Announce

The Announce feature allows the teacher to send a message to one or more students in the class. This tool is available when a class session is active.

Enter the announcement message and click the Announce button.

In the text field at the top, you can type your announcement, then send it by pressing Send. If you want to save your announcement to send later, check the Add to saved box before you click Send.

Below this, you'll see two tabs. Recent shows your 10 most recently sent announcements, while the Saved tab shows announcements that have been saved for future reuse. You can click an announcement in either list to paste the contents into the above text field, then simply edit the text if desired and hit Send.

Students will see the message on all open tabs and must confirm by clicking OK before they can continue to use the device. Until a student confirms the announcement, you will see an orange announcement status icon in the bottom right corner of the student's card.
