Email case handling

Prev Next

If Student A sends an email to Student B, the case will be generated for the sender, Student A. However, if the flagged activity in the email actually regards Student B, you are able to transfer that case to Student B.

For example, Student A sends an email to Student B urging Student B to not harm themself. Since the case is attached to Student A, but the real subject of the email is Student B, the case should be reassigned to Student B.

By clicking the Assign/Create button on any email-based activity, you can create a new case and attach it to any other student that the email was sent to.
