Automated Device Enrollment

Apple TVs should be enrolled through Automated Device Enrollment. Be sure to complete the steps in the Configuring Automated Device Enrollment section of this guide. Also verify that the device is assigned to Securly MDM in Apple School Manager.

When Automated Device Enrollment is properly configured, your Apple TV devices should automatically show up in the device list when selecting an ASM account from Settings > Device Enrollment > Automated enrollment and then going to the Devices tab.

Enrollment is completely automated. Simply plug in your Apple TV to your network and to a power source. The device will:

• Automatically detect your network and connect to the Internet
• Find the record for the device in your ASM account and see that the device is assigned to enroll into Securly MDM.
• Connect to Securly MDM and receive the enrollment profile as configured in the Automated Device Enrollment settings
• Enroll into Securly MDM

After enrollment is complete, the device will show up in the appropriate tvOS device group.
