Setting Description
Return to Service Checking this option allows a device to automatically connect to Wi-Fi after being erased by sending the Wi-Fi information with the erase command. When used in conjunction with Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), devices can be wiped and re-enrolled without any user intervention, providing Zero-Touch Re-provisioning. This option is available on the device erase screen and works with iOS/iPadOS 17 or newer.
Clear activation lock if present before reset Select this option to automatically clear activation lock if it is enabled for the device.
Delete device(s) from Securly MDM Use this option when you do not plan to re-enroll the device into Securly MDM. This will ensure that the record for the device is removed from Securly MDM.
Preserve data plan If the device has an active eSIM data plan, this option will ensure that the settings are preserved and restored to the device after reset.
Disallow proximity setup Use this option to ensure that the device will automatically re-enroll through Automated Device Enrollment (if configured) and not provide an option for the device user to attempt to set it up by copying from a nearby device.
