Managing Books

The Books area in Content is used to manage and distribute Apple iBooks to users. Books must be purchased or added to an ASM account in order to be added to Securly MDM and distributed.

Books can only be assigned to users, not devices. This means that each user must be signed into their Apple Account on their device. Books will be downloaded from their account, but licenses will be pulled from the ASM account. Once a license has been assigned and used by a student, it cannot be recalled or revoked.
