Understanding Roles in the Pass System

As you prepare to add users to your the Pass system, please be aware of the four user roles and the access level of each user.

Role Description
Admin Access to the Main Navigation Menu, Control Panel, and Management of system settings
Teacher Access to the Main Navigation Menu
Staff (nurse, librarian, media center specialist, SRO, guidance counselor, etc.) Access to the Main Navigation Menu
Student Access to the Student Menu
Note:

There is no difference in the functionality between Teacher and Staff roles.

  • Teachers - manage student hall passes and monitor student movement
  • Staff - need access to the Pass system but aren't classroom teachers
