While Pass can be used on its own, enabling the integration between Securly Pass and Securly Classroom allows teachers to view active hall passes without leaving Classroom, both before and during class, and interact with them, including approving pass requests from students.

Notes on the Securly Pass integration

• The Pass integration applies to users in any role except for the Substitute Teacher role. This means that if a user is a technician or an admin, they’ll get notifications and interactions like a teacher does.
• Securly Sync is not required for integration with Securly Pass to function properly. The only required information needed in both systems is user emails, as these emails must match to properly sync data and actions.
