SettingDescription
Show device info on lock screenUse this setting to choose to display either the device name, IP address, or MAC address on the lock screen.
Maximum cached usersUse this setting to manually configure the maximum number of user accounts that can be cached on the device. Choosing a very low number will reserve more storage space per user and may be beneficial if it is known that a relatively small number of users will be sharing the device. When the user's data is cached on the device, it will be faster for the user to login and logout because their data will not need to download from their iCloud account. Leave this value empty to allow iPadOS to configure this automatically. This can be advantageous in fluid environments where the number of users per device may vary significantly. In this case, the OS can adjust the number of cache users based on available storage and usage patterns to optimize storage space and user performance.
Diagnostic submissionUse this setting to allow diagnostic data to automatically be sent to Apple.
App analyticsUse this setting to control whether app usage data is collected and sent to Apple. This can help Apple and developers by providing insights about their apps.
Only allow temporary (guest) sessionsEnable this setting to configure the iPad to disable user logins for the device and allow it to only be used in guest mode.
Temporary session timeout (in seconds)This setting configures the number of minutes the device will be idle before the temporary (guest) session is automatically logged out.
