Barcode or Magnetic Strip Scanning is the third option. You can select either barcode or magnetic strip scanning card as the Default Login method.
If you choose the Card as Default Login method, you will need to purchase and install the scanning hardware to the devices that will run Kiosk Mode.
If you choose the Barcode as Default Login method, you can use the camera from the device that you are using as your Kiosk (iPad or Chromebook) to scan the QR code/barcode OR purchase and install the scanning hardware to the devices that will run Kiosk Mode. Please verify that the information on the ID contains the student ID number and that the student ID number has been loaded into Pass with the other user data.
